Today, Monday, was a busy day, with up to 6 people working (excluding me) in the "chantier". The day was beautiful, sunny and no wind.

They arrived at 08:00 this morning with concrete blocks which were unloaded and placed at the hole in the ground.

Our "driveway" got quite busy with trucks and vans coming up the whole day.

The concrete blocks were all cut to the height that the cement would go to.

Today was also the first day for the electrician (who was only hired on Friday). A young guy, he is the protégée of the electrician we normally use, but who has retired recently. His job was to remove all the electricity that was present in the old garage and was now outside.

The cutting of the concrete blocks went on the whole day ! Noisy and dusty !!

The concrete blocks are now all around the garage and form part of the foundation.

You can see the L-shape of the blocks. The cement will be poured up to the bottom part of the L. This will probably be Thursday, since they have to remove all the junk inside the "hole".
