Today the sun was splitting the rocks. The garage floor looked fine with the plastic covering:

The plastic was there to a) keep the rain out of the bottom, and b) isolate the floor from humidity.

The crew arrived early to set things up. They installed funnels for the concrete.

The cement truck was ordered for 11 o'clock, and arrived at 10:50.

The funnels were hooked up to the truck.

And then the cement started flowing.

While the cement was flowing, the crew were spreading it out.

The left part was quickly filled in.

Then they started with the right side.

The last drops of the 5 cubic meters were poured.

They then used long straight beams to level out the concrete.

End of the morning, all the concrete was there, and reasonably level.

They then came back in the afternoon to make it totally level.

A truck was brought in to carry away the excess cement.

When they left, the floor was done, level and drying quickly. A start of the ramp was also done.

Tomorrow nothing happens as the cement needs to dry. They're back on Thursday.
