Yesterday evening we went to the annual War Veteran Dinner in the village communal hall (the party room). Some 80 people gathered to celebrate the war veterans. Each year, they sell tickets for the dinner (€15 per person), and each year they have choucroute (sauerkraut) with sausage.



The village mayor (Maire) serves the food to the village people. Interesting evening. After dinner, they put on music, and everyone dances.

This is life in the fast lane ! ...  ;-))
