As most of you probably know, Trish lives 3 nights in Paris on her own, and 4 in Normandy with me. Already her commute trip from the Neuilly-sur-Seine apartment to her work was long, about one hour. But since her company is moving in two week time, it would have become longer. So we set out to find a new apartment, and we did. It's in Paris, the 15th district, right next to a busy shopping/restaurants/cinemas/bars area, but in a very quite street. Here's the apartment (half the size of the Neuilly one):
Here's Trish cleaning before the move. The "room" she's in will be her cupboard storage area. The room I'm in is the bedroom.
Here's the view the other way around, I'm in the cupboard room, looking towards the bedroom.
This was taken from the bedroom to the living room.
And this one from the hallway to the living room.
This is the bathroom.
and its small bath tub.
The very small toilet...
The hallway taken from the doorway.
The hallway taken from the cupboard/bathroom area.
The small, but functional kitchen.
The hallway before the door (communal area)
The elevator, so small I can barely fit in. Official weight it can carry is 200 kg..
The elevator is made out of wood !!!
The main downstairs hallway, with intercom.
The building and its entrance.
The street facing one way.. and...
the street facing the other way. See the red car parked there ??? That's where Trish will be working from now on. Barely 10 meters away from her new apartment !! Movers come Monday to pack, and move Tuesday to Paris. The remainder of the apartment goes to Normandy on Wednesday.
