Well, Christmas Eve was spent at our friends Christine and Jean-Charles, and with our mutual friends Ruth and Philipe. When we arrived, their Christmas tree was ready for the prezzies:



After some initial nibbles (Foie gras on pineapple, duck strips), we went to the dinner table.



And then Christine brought on her delicious meal. We started with oysters (well, I had Foie Gras);



Yes, the Coca-Cola can is mine......



After the oysters, more Foie Gras was served. Then, Christine served a wonderful duck with figs and a celery puree. Desert was a great cut-out pineapple with cream and fruits.

Coffee was taken in the living room, where we started unwrapping presents:



We all had presents, and had a very enjoyable evening........ I'm heavier than I've ever been, and there's still one day of eating to go....
