Last Sunday we were invited by some new friends to spend Sunday afternoon walking in the woods, and then having dinner in their modest country home.

The woods, belonging to them, is some 17 hectares.... including ponds, streams and lots of trees.

Unfortunately, we could only stay until midnight, since Trish (and I) had to work early the following morning, but it was a very pleasant evening.

Life is tough in Normandy....
