Changing Gas Tanks

Since we had an issue with TotalGaz, we decided to move to Butagaz for our gas supply. For that to happen, they needed to remove the TotalGaz gas tank, and replace it with one of their own. And since we're taking one out, and putting one in, we asked them to move it to the other side of the back garden, so that in the future we could make an extension.

Early this morning, a truck arrived with the new gas tank and a digger.

Our fear that they would have to break down the recently planted hedge was unfounded, for they simply hooked up the digger to the onboard crane:

and lifted the digger over the hedge...

Once in the rear garden it could dig away:

They were digging in an area that had not seen a digger for decades, and they did find some strange and wonderful stuff, like whole rocks made out of flintstone.

With the old gas tank, out they started digging for the new one further up:

Since we had to leave, I could not make anymore photos. They did replace the gas tank, and fill everything up, but we're still out of gas, since the plumber has to come tomorrow to connect things up.
