Well, we had decided to spend Christmas here in Normandy with friends, and then fly to Lisbon to follow the start of the Dakar race, and party with the BMW racers. But then BMW changed the date to the 28th, and I had already begged off for another party on the 31st, so that fell into the water. And then most of our friends decided to go elsewhere for Christmas.

So now, Christmas is going to be spent at dinner with our friends Duboc here in Normandy, and then for New Year, we've booked a luxury room in the Royal Barriere Hotel in Deauville, plus a show in the Casino of Deauville.... so maybe I can win back the money we're spending for the evening .

So either we come back rich, or poor (but happy). Who knows....
